A well-established route into a successful teaching career
Why train with us?
The Havering Teacher Training Partnership is a well-established route into a successful teaching career.
In the past 14 years we have trained in excess of 400 teachers, many who have made rapid progress into positions of responsibility. Training is school based and trainees benefit from working with highly experienced classroom practitioners in a challenging but supportive environment.
We are able to carefully match trainees to a suitable school department ensuring that aspiring teachers have the best possible start.
The programme has established an enviable reputation and is well regarded by head teachers: our long term employment figures are exceptionally strong. The lead school, Hall Mead in Upminster, has recently been rated outstanding by Ofsted and many of the training sessions are provided by practicing expert teachers from Partnership schools. Hall Mead School is part of the Empower Teaching Alliance which provides ongoing support from the NQT year onwards.
